A long-term care facility resident in Greenville was the first in South Carolina to get the COVID-19 vaccine. On Monday, 120 residents at Patewood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center received the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. Winona McClain is 71-years-old and was emotional about getting the vaccine after being isolated for so many months from her family and friends. “It takes a toll,” McClain said. “You get anxious, you get depressed. But with the good Lord’s help, we’re making it.
