Amped up camera performance with second-generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile

When OnePlus partnered with legendary camera manufacturer Hasselblad and introduced Hasselblad Camera for Mobile on the OnePlus 9 series, it was big news. With this, OnePlus brought Hasselblad’s eight- decade-plus lineage of camera expertise to OnePlus users and redefined our expectations of the smartphone camera. The OnePlus 10 Pro’s second-generation Hasselblad Camera for Mobile takes camera performance even further with OnePlus Billion Color Solution, a new 150° ultra-wide camera, and much more.

OnePlus Billion Color Solution allows Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad to be applied to over one billion colors, meaning each of the OnePlus 10 Pro’s three rear cameras—the main, telephoto, and ultra-wide camera—is capable of shooting in full 10-bit color. As a result, the device processes 64 times more color than smartphones that shoot in 8-bit color.

Further, the OnePlus 10 Pro captures photos using the DCI-P3 colour gamut, which offers 25% more color coverage than the sRGB color gamut used by other smartphones. If you take a photo through the OnePlus 10 Pro, you would see that they exhibit more delicate and pleasing colours where the colour banding is dramatically reduced, leaving you with smoother transitions between each colour. With this, the latest technology gives OnePlus users a chance to experience the most precise colours and capture the most stunning shots.

Always wanted to capture utra-wide, life-like shots with your smartphone? Well, with the OnePlus 10 Pro’s ultra-wide camera, precisely the widest ultra-wide camera ever on a OnePlus device, you can capture more in each shot. OnePlus 10 Pro’s new ultra-wide camera offers a 150° field of view that lets you take photos that are four times wider than those captured with 120° ultra-wide cameras on other smartphones. The feature also supports a Fisheye mode that replicates the look of traditional fisheye lenses, providing a fresh perspective when shooting. By default, the OnePlus 10 Pro’s ultra-wide camera captures photos with a 110° field of view, complete with AI distortion correction. The sensor’s 150° and Fisheye modes are accessible via a dedicated tab within the Camera application.

Along with the ultra-wide shot feature, the OnePlus 10 Pro also comes with Long Exposure that allows you to quickly and easily capture long exposure images with or without a tripod. The result? Silky smooth waterfalls and creative light paintings with the tap of a button. Long exposure images can be captured via the ‘More’ setting within the OnePlus 10 Pro’s Camera application.
